Lankan Cargo (formerly known as Aero Lanka and Serendib Express) is an airline based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It was established in 2002 and operates domestic services between Jaffna and Colombo. It plans international cargo operations to the Middle East and Europe.[1]

In 2005 Aero Lanka applied to the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka to operate services to the following destinations: Dubai, Malé, Rome, Singapore, Tiruchirapalli and Thiruvananthapuram, using Airbus A300 aircraft.[2]

As of July 2010, the company has applied to CAA of Sri Lanka to renew its AOC and resume international cargo operations under the name Lankan Cargo. It plans international cargo operations to the Middle East and Europe, current network is as follows:

International services are operated on behalf of SriLankan Airlines cargo to Chennai, Bangalore and Thiruvanathapuran in India.
